Food and flowers

During a previous life I worked here for a bit and a love of food found me accidentally being a food writer for C4. So yup, subsequently like most florists I fancy myself as a bit of a Constance Spry both in the kitchen and garden.
There are a lot of these in our house. Flowery books for foodies.
Blossom blowing through the portholes today as I cook – a defiinite whoop for Spring.

Look volupp, but always start off in a rickety wheel barrow, in my workshop wheelhouse, oft in the rain with Woman’s Hour in the background – always telling me something teary ensuring lots of tea is needed.
Thistles mixed with anemones, tulips, hyacinths, hydrangeas and all sorts of herbs. My favourites. For Burberry, Testino and a delicious production team.
