Autumn on Anny

Kensal Cemetary, posies for a party, brown paper packaging.

Listening to her and trying to translate french messages.

Making leftovers in junk shop finds and discovering Harper Rose has created a splodge on my camera lens.

Feels like I’m sending my posies off to their first day at school. Hope they behave.

Pouff…Red red wine for a wednesday.

French Elle

Two posts, one day, not sure I can keep this up.

The boat and Cho immortalised in French Elle. No, this is not me tho I am partial to a spotty print and a stripe and yes flower friends, I had a proper boohoo when I saw our late puss posing and giving the model jels. We miss you.

In this months issue and shot by fellow earl grey tea lover, David Burton.

Shooting ladies

Carnations have always made me think of ketchuped stem vases in Little Chef so I’m either going loops or having a midlife.

Shoot me. The Antiqua Dianthus carnation, spotted under my arm at Covent Garden and now on the boat…with my good luck ladybird.

Beatrix pottering

So Harper Rose turned one. No big fanfare just those curls slipping into larger Moccis, growing out of tutus and eating roses. A crazy year, getting wed, turning a naughty forty and being a boat famille. Happy times.

It’s not always the decks of boats and backstreets of New Covent Garden she sees. This is a she and me must, followed by maybe a boiled egg here with an old friend. And tea with another. Friday flowers.

Wax for a wedding

I’ll admit it there are some flowers I once hated and now love. These of the wax variety are those. Here my new friends were wired by me and lovely Han with bombastic roses, erica, tuberose and jasmine and taken to a pretty bride in Lincs.

I still haven’t blogged about my own wedding I know but I will I will, if not for nostalgia but as a reminder it was once summer, dill was bright yellow and skys were blue.

Now to pumpkins, warm winter berries, Bluebird and boat leaks. Happy Thursday xxx
