I am not a big cut sunflower fan but this week worked on a film set and now rather love them en masse and, praise be, on an altar.
The film is Broken with Tim Roth and Cillian Murphy and by the brilliant Daniel Clay. Soz, no schmmooching or old days in the theatre talk I’m afraid, just me and the lovely prop boys and a ghost story telling church warden who went by the name of Thomson.

Grey in London, an impossible job to price, it’s a bit feeling all shouty and 80’s…
We’ve taken to our beds and are having a fluffy headed Lalanne day…
I used to find Dahlias really grannylicious but have a new found love for them.
That’s not my garden, but Holland park at Dahlia culling time as Harps, Nels and I walked past this week. I rarely get given flowers so it was a good day.
And something ‘Beatley to make the rain go away…
Florists never get to sit down, you work harder on your feet which is probably why we’re also all hobbling about with bad backs…ouch.
These are just calling aren’t they? From a selection by the flower loving team at Anthroplogie. A Friday flowersome feet up. xxx
Missing my motor but she’s doing fine…with her talented adopted fathers, film directors Rob and Aidan. Will post link a to her feature film debut soon…
A friend recently ran off to NY to get wed so I made her a good luck posey to take with her. Sneaking off to Temptation Alley I bought some millinery bits, sewed and wired them and then dyed them in tea.
I love the idea that this darjeeling and geranium scented affair travelled all that way to witness true romance. There was a sax player, a pier and if flowers could only talk… Read all about it over at Caroline No.
Kensal Cemetary, posies for a party, brown paper packaging.
Listening to her and trying to translate french messages.
Making leftovers in junk shop finds and discovering Harper Rose has created a splodge on my camera lens.
Feels like I’m sending my posies off to their first day at school. Hope they behave.
Pouff…Red red wine for a wednesday.

Two posts, one day, not sure I can keep this up.
The boat and Cho immortalised in French Elle. No, this is not me tho I am partial to a spotty print and a stripe and yes flower friends, I had a proper boohoo when I saw our late puss posing and giving the model jels. We miss you.
In this months issue and shot by fellow earl grey tea lover, David Burton.
