Gypsy Rose Flowers

Buns and butterflies

Buns and butterflies

One Carousel horse in, a nervy bowlerhatted cat under the bed, 800 Lp’s and several vases later, we finally moved hence the serio lack of blog blog.

Not as roomy or as magical as the boat but a little Elephant Cottage with just enough room for us four and my circles of silk…and a camera that had a fuzzyfelt lens on just at the right moment.

Wreaths for Gail’s Bread stores in London.

The Woman in Black

Fearful florals with pineaples, a sweet dog in a high chair, Daniel Radcliffe, silly old me and The Woman in Black team.

David LaChapelle

Beautiful complaining about our crazy crazy world. Over here.

À bientôt

A late happy new year and a vast amount of countess crapula activity on the blog I know, soz, be back soon. An escape to france, nordic noels, leaky last days aboard, cat comforting, feathering nests and writing jobs are all to blame.

Flowers in her hair

Be back soon, we are still on the boat, it is raining, tidly John my bench pal just had hot lentils delivered, Arnold is pining Mme C, my hands are rose thorn free and contrary to other floral friends I’m not wearing flowers in my hair a la Jean (but I will for Christmas)….I think these are fake but hope that’s real mimosa.

P.S For my other job I’ve been having a momentary daliance with Bert Stern, what a lovely floral pic to find.

Leaving the nest

Bad blogging of late as we prepare to leave our boat, sad days but such happy times living with the wildlife in London. Pip back with tales of our new home – a giant tree house under the stars cleverly disguised as a Mr Ben style boring flat.

Images from artist Katie Vernon who I found via lovely Rona. xxx

A little blog love

I found myself amongst some seriously clever flower girls this week over at Phoebe Miller’s super stylish Miller Weddings and feel rather knee knockingly bashful holding hands with such talent.

Thank you Mrs Miller and fellow gin drinkers and peony lovers, I toast you. xxxx

Flowery interlude

Whilst I visit nurseries of the non plant variety. Good socks, Cecil and Hockers. xxx

Broken sunflowers

I am not a big cut sunflower fan but this week worked on a film set and now rather love them en masse and, praise be, on an altar.

The film is Broken with Tim Roth and Cillian Murphy and by the brilliant Daniel Clay. Soz, no schmmooching or old days in the theatre talk I’m afraid, just me and the lovely prop boys and a ghost story telling church warden who went by the name of Thomson.
